30 Student workstations, a teaching area, 3M Security Gate, Outlets every 12 feet around the perimeter, seating for 40 students and a circulation desk. The 40 student seating areas are the tables located throughout the shelving for small group projects and a leasure reading area in the front of the room.
Circulation Desk
This area had many uses. It is an area for students to return materials and check in to the library. It is also the main reference desk for the library aide and the area where books are signed out to patrons. It houses three computers, one for circulation and one for the monitoring of students on the computer stations throughout the library and the library file server. It is also the main phone access to the library for the staff. Behind the desk is the area for periodicals and student supples.
Safety and the Library
The library has an emergency fire exit, a fire alarm pull and two fire extinguishers. It also has emergency lighting and exit signage.
